Burnt Caramel Pie

Ingredients :

  • 2 (9 inch) pie shells, baked
  • three cups white sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup mild corn syrup
  • 1/four cup butter, melted
  • half of teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • half teaspoon cream of tartar

Instructions :

  • Beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and half of cup sugar; maintain to beat till stiff peaks shape. Spread meringue over pies, sealing the rims.
  • Bake at 325 ranges F (165 stages C) for approximately 15 minutes.
